Dear Parents/Guardians,
The S-VE High School Student Council is excited to share that on Friday, Dec. 20, our high school students will have the opportunity to participate in a day of community service. This event allows students to engage meaningfully with our community while learning the value of giving back.
Throughout the day, students will be involved in various service activities at local organizations/sites and at school. These activities will take place during regular school hours, and students will return to campus before dismissal. Transportation and supervision will be provided by school staff and volunteers.
We believe this experience will be enriching and educational for our students. However, we understand that participation in this event may not align with the preferences or circumstances of every family. If you do not wish for your child to participate, please inform us by contacting Principal, Dr. Bradley Countermine or Assistant Principal, Beth Ruocco by Tuesday, Dec. 17 at 607-589-7140.
If we do not hear from you, we will assume that your child has permission to take part in this meaningful day of service.
Thank you for your support as we work to instill values of compassion and civic engagement in our students. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Beth Ruocco
Assistant Principal/Athletic Director
