High School - B Day

Spirit Days next week are:  Monday – Polar Express Day; Tuesday – Ugly Sweater Day; Wednesday – Elves vs. Reindeer; Thursday – Christmas Movie Day; Friday – Santa Hat Day

There will be a meeting for anyone who is interested in ski/snowboard club today, Friday in Ms. Browne’s room – 203.

The ASVAB exam will be given Wednesday, December 20th at 8:05 a.m. and will last for approximately 3 hours.  Anyone interested in taking the exam or joining the military should see their Guidance Counselor to sign up.

The last day for salad bar before the break will be Monday, December 18.  We will be having breakfast sandwiches on a bagel as scheduled along with hash brown potatoes.  We will be leaving the breakfast line open right up until lunch.

Students interested in a career in Social Work and Counseling can pick up a permission form in the Guidance Office for a group job shadow on January 30th.

A Real Estate salesperson will be visiting SVE in January.  Please sign up in the Guidance Office.

Students interested in a career as a Civil, Mechanical or Electrical engineer can pick up a permission form in the Guidance office for a group shadow with Hunt Engineers on January 11.

Holiday Food Drive – December 11th – 19th:  Bring non-perishable food items in for families in need this holiday season!  Deliver food to the box marked with your grade level located in the Library.  Each student in the winning grade will receive fifty cents to the Snack Hut!  Sponsored by Key Club.

There will be a Cookie Walk on December 16 from 8-noon at McAnn’s to benefit Project Graduation, Class of 2018.  See Mrs. Alpert or Mrs. Vallely for more information.


Middle School - B Day

Grab and Go is in the main office today.

There will be a food give away at the Federated Church on Friday December 22 from 9:30 – 10:30 am and then from 4:30 to 5:30 pm. Please see Mr. Craven if you have any questions.

The 7th grade team is sponsoring a candy gram sale during lunches.  You can purchase a candy cane and attach a message to send to a friend.  We will deliver it for you.  Each candy gram is 50 cents.  Sales have started, so bring in your money to share the joy of the season with a friend. 
Modified basketball practice will be at the high school today from 3 – 5 pm.
